This month's series hosted by All Things Kids is all about Fall. Head over to the Homepage here to see all the best ideas shared today.
We love bubbles and we love scented play. So we just had to try making Apple Scented Bubbles. With the cooler weather of Fall in the air, we are ready for more outside play. Chasing bubbles is one of our favorite go to activities. It is perfect for my multi-aged kids. All 3 of them love chasing the bubbles. Perfect way to spend a Fall afternoon with the kids.
Of course we had to give the bubbles a quick test before being able to go to sleep, lol. If you follow along with us on FSPDT you know I love apple scented everything it seems. So these bubbles were just right for me and the kids.
I love the look on his face and that he closes his eyes to blow the bubble. This is big brother he is 5.5yr.
The kids got excited to see that mommy's bubble solution worked.
We also made our own Bubble Wands. So easy to make even for the kids. This is little brother he is 3yr.
We took pipe cleaners and made a shape on the top by bending the wire in the pipe cleaner. The kids threaded a few wooden beads (thanks craftprojectideas.com for the free beads) on the pipe cleaner too. Working on fine motor skills.
Now the next afternoon we had DIY Apple Scented Bubbles and Homemade Bubble Wands! Time to play.
We went out in the yard. I opened up the bubble solution and sat the wands next to it. The kids all came running to start bubbling and chasing the bubbles.

realize they were the big things.”

What we used:
apple scented dish soap(wash up soap)
2 tsp sugar
What to do:
Take about 1- 2 cups hot water and add it to a container. Then add about 1/2 cup of dish soap. I just squirted the soap in the container and last added few tsp of sugar. Now it is bubble time!
